A little adventure, a lot of nostalgia, and a bit of ice cream at the end.

If you love wandering through rows of history, nostalgia, and the occasional what on earth is this? moment, Jeffrey's Antique Gallery is a place you'll want to se aside real time for. This isn't a quick pop-in antique stop...it's an experience.
Located at 11326 County Rd 99, Findlay, OH, Jeffrey's is about a 45-minute drive from Toledo, making it an easy day trip. Inside, you'll find hundreds of dealers spread across a massive space filled with antiques, vintage finds, and collectibles at a comfortable mid-range price point. The variety is part of the fun: glassware, toys, books, paper ephemera, home decor, and unexpected gems tucked into every booth.
Jeffrey's is open 10am-6pm, 362 days a year, closing only on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They accept all major credit cards and cash, and many vendors offer sales (or even better discounts) when you pay with cash. If you go, plan to spend at least three hours. Trust me, you'll need it.
My Visit
On this visit, I went in with no rush and no list (only keeping an eye out for Crayola items) -- my favorite way to shop an antique mall. I let myself wander, peek into booths that caught my eye, and follow that little spark of recognition that only nostalgia can bring.
What I Found
Crayola Teddy Bears (1986)
I found two Crayola teddy bears from 1986, which likely came from Hallmark. There was a Burger King promotion around Christmastime for smaller versions. They're colorful (orange and green), cheerful, and instantly transported me back to childhood. I'll put a Burger King promotional video here because these bears deserve their moment:
3 Creative Child Press Coloring Books (1980s)
Next came three Creative Child Press coloring books from the 1980s. There's a very real chance I owned these exact books as a kid--or at least ones from the company (I remember the logo so vividly). Holding them felt like flipping through a memory rather than a purchase.
Mother Goose Coloring Book (circa 1970s) One of my favorite finds was a Mother Goose coloring book with some pages already colored in and dated from the 1970s. I love items like this--pieces that clearly lived a life before reaching me.
The "Happytime" Coloring Book Then there was Happytime--a truly puzzling coloring book that made me laugh out loud. A train on one page. A clam on another. A wheel of cheese. A princess. No theme. No explanation. Just chaos in coloring-book form, and honestly? I loved it.
Teen Magazines (Late 1970s-Early 1980s) I also picked up several teen magazines from the late 1970s and early 1980s. These feel especially meaningful, since my mom may have read these very same magazines. I'll likely flip through them in future posts--they're little time capsules of pop culture, fashion, and everyday teen life from decades ago.
Why I Love Places Like This
Jeffrey's Antique Gallery is one of those places where every visit feels a little different. You never know what you'll find, what memory might surface, or what odd little item will follow you home. It's part research, part joy, part gentle time travel--and that's exactly my kind of place.
If you've been to Jeffrey's before, I'd love to know what you found. And if you haven't Maybe this is your sign to plan a visit.
Come with me again soon <3
