The Crayola Dinosaurs 5-in-1 Creativity Kit gives you an entire dinosaur world to build.

At first glance, it looks like a simple coloring set, but after opening the box I quickly realized there's much more inside. Rather than focusing on a single activity, this kit combines coloring pages, washable crayons, Pip-Squeaks Skinnies markers, flocked texture coloring sheets, dinosaur stickers, stand-up dinosaur figures, and illustrated prehistoric backgrounds into one creative package.

What I liked most was the variety. Instead of finishing one project and putting the box away, each activity naturally leads into the next. You might start by coloring a page, then decorate a few dinosaur stickers, build a stand-up T. rex, and finally place it into one of the included prehistoric scenes. By the end, you've created your own little dinosaur display.

My favorite activity was definitely assembling the stand-up dinosaurs. They're easy to put together, surprisingly sturdy, and they really bring the artwork to life. In fact, the stop-motion T. rex featured in my video became one of my favorite shots to film because it perfectly captured the imagination this kit encourages.

The included art supplies are also generous. With 12 washable crayons and 18 Pip-Squeaks Skinnies markers, there are plenty of colors available for multiple projects. Because everything is washable, parents can feel a little more comfortable letting young artists experiment without worrying too much about permanent messes.

As someone who reviews modern Crayola products, I appreciate kits that encourage creativity in different ways instead of simply providing another coloring book. This one successfully combines coloring, crafting, building, and imaginative play into a single package.

For young dinosaur fans, rainy afternoons, birthday gifts, or family craft time, this is one of Crayola's more complete creativity kits.
