Dollar Tree Find: Oversized Crayola Pencil Boxes for Just $1.25

One of the best parts of visiting Dollar Tree is never knowing what Crayola products might appear on the shelves.

This week I found something both practical and surprisingly useful: oversized Crayola pencil boxes in the classic Crayola colors of red, yellow, and blue.

At approximately 11" × 7" × 2.5", these are much larger than a traditional pencil box. That extra space makes them useful for far more than just pencils. They're large enough to organize crayons, washable markers, colored pencils, craft supplies, stickers, scissors, or just about any small art materials that tend to end up scattered around a desk.

As a Crayola collector, I immediately started thinking about all the different ways these could be used to organize duplicate crayons, review supplies, or works-in-progress.

And at only $1.25 each, it's hard to argue with the value.

If you're shopping for back-to-school supplies, putting together an art station for a young artist, or simply looking for inexpensive storage, these are definitely worth keeping an eye out for.

As always with Dollar Tree, inventory varies from store to store, so if you don't see them right away, it may be worth checking another location.
