Two Classic Art Activities in One: Crayola Spin & Spiral Art Station

Some art kits give you one way to create. Crayola's Spin & Spiral Art Station gives you two.
This creative kit combines two classic art activities into a single tabletop station. One side creates intricate spiral designs using interchangeable gears and washable markers, while the other transforms into a traditional spin art machine that produces colorful, one-of-a-kind abstract artwork.
It's a fun combination that offers two completely different creative experiences.
The spiral art side was the first thing I wanted to try. Using the included gears, markers, and paper discs, it's easy to create detailed geometric patterns that slowly appear as you guide the marker around the track. There's something surprisingly relaxing about watching each design build one line at a time.
Then it's time to make a mess—in the best possible way.
The spin art side lets you create colorful splatter designs by spinning the paper while applying drops of ink. Every design comes out differently, and that's part of the fun. You never know exactly what you're going to get until the spinning stops.
What I liked most about this kit is that it doesn't force you to choose between the two activities. If you're in the mood to slow down and make something precise, the spiral art is incredibly satisfying. If you'd rather experiment and let creativity take over, the spin art side offers a completely different experience.
Together, they complement each other surprisingly well. The included supplies are generous, with washable Pip-Squeaks markers, bottles of spin art ink, paper discs, and interchangeable gears providing plenty of opportunities to experiment with different color combinations and designs.
As someone who reviews modern Crayola products, I appreciate kits that encourage creativity in multiple ways rather than relying on a single activity. Spin & Spiral Art Station succeeds by offering variety while keeping everything organized in one compact workstation.
